Paint Sound, 2016

Paint Sound is a sound visualizer for people with hearing impairments to see sound through holographic visualization. The Mixed Reality application was developed during Microsoft’s first Hololens Hackathon 2016 and have been awarded for first place winner.

Environment: The user can place sound/music reactive holograms and Mixed Reality effects to enhance the physically environment.

Alert: Through 3D audio triangulation, the application detects and visually alerts where the sound is coming from.
